Stephen McAllister entered the law enforcement field after being nominated to serve on the health and safety committee as the "new guy" on the job. It turned out that law enforcement was something that Stephen was passionate about. He felt that the right thing to do was to further his education before venturing in to the field any deeper. He started with safety courses at a local safety association and then got his NCSO designation. The desire to learn more was still within him thus he decided to continue his education and attended the University of Alberta to receive an OHS Certificate.
Stephen is of the belief that when you stop learning you stop growing.
